The Project
Kilcawley Center is the student hub of Youngstown State University’s campus. It houses student activities, student government, and dining options for all of campus. As the college experience has evolved, the building has not. Due to the outdated nature of Kilcawley, a campaign was started to raise funds for the building, which was publicly announced in 2023.
The Concept
The target demographic includes current donors in our system who are over the age of 50. Youngstown State University’s yearbook, The Neon, was a pivotal part of the student experience for these donors. When it came to designing this, I wanted the donors to be reminded of The Neon just from this brochure.
